These Terms and Conditions govern the professional relationship between Dawn Petition Support ("we," "us," or "our") and any attorney or law firm ("Client") engaging our document preparation services. By engaging our services you agree to these terms.
1. Services Provided
Dawn Petition Support provides bankruptcy petition preparation services for licensed attorneys and law firms only. All work is performed under attorney direction and returned to the attorney for review and filing. We do not provide legal advice, represent clients, or engage in the practice of law in any form.
2. Attorney Responsibility
The engaging attorney retains full professional and ethical responsibility for all documents prepared by Dawn Petition Support. It is the attorney's responsibility to review all prepared documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable laws, rules, and court requirements before filing.
3. Information Provided by Client
The accuracy and completeness of all prepared documents depends entirely on the accuracy and completeness of the information provided to Dawn Petition Support by the engaging attorney. Dawn Petition Support is not responsible for errors, omissions, or delays resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or untimely information.
4. Turnaround Time
Turnaround time begins upon receipt of complete client documentation and intake information. Dawn Petition Support will make every reasonable effort to prepare documents promptly. Rush preparation is available for an additional fee as outlined in our pricing schedule.
5. Fees and Payment
Fees are as published on the Dawn Petition Support website at the time services are engaged, or as otherwise agreed upon in writing. Payment terms will be established in the individual service agreement between Dawn Petition Support and the engaging attorney. Dawn Petition Support reserves the right to pause or discontinue services on accounts with outstanding balances.
6. Confidentiality
Dawn Petition Support treats all client files, documents, and information as strictly confidential. Information received in connection with document preparation services will not be disclosed to any third party except as required by law. All files are handled and stored securely.
7. Amendments
Requests for amendments to completed documents are subject to additional fees as outlined in our pricing schedule. Amendment requests should be submitted promptly upon attorney review of the prepared document.
8. Limitation of Liability
Dawn Petition Support's liability in connection with any document preparation services shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific services giving rise to the claim. Dawn Petition Support shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages of any kind.
9. Independent Contractor
Dawn Petition Support operates as an independent contractor. Nothing in these terms or in any service agreement creates an employment relationship, partnership, or joint venture between Dawn Petition Support and any engaging attorney or law firm.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
11. Changes to These Terms
Dawn Petition Support reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued engagement of services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
