Bankruptcy petition preparation - handled personally, prepared accurately, returned court-ready.

Bankruptcy Petition Preparation - Chapter 7 & Chapter 13

Every hour spent on petition drafting is an hour not spent on client consultations, court preparation, or practice development. Dawn Petition Support handles the preparation so your time goes where it creates the most value.

Preparing a bankruptcy petition is time-consuming, detail-intensive work. Every form must be complete, every schedule accurate, every number accounted for before it reaches the court. For solo attorneys and small firms managing a full caseload, that preparation time adds up fast.

Dawn Petition Support handles that preparation so you don't have to.

I work exclusively with bankruptcy attorneys, preparing Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 petitions under your direction and returning completed, court-ready documents for your review and filing. You direct the scope. I handle the preparation. Your professional responsibility remains entirely with you, as it should.

How It Works

Getting Started

We begin with a brief conversation about your workflow, preferences, and case requirements, so petitions are prepared exactly the way you expect from the start. From there we establish a simple service agreement that defines how we work together.

Submit Client Information

You send your client's completed intake and supporting documents. Well-organized files lead to faster turnaround and fewer revisions. If anything is missing, I'll flag it clearly so you can follow up with your client before we proceed.

Petition Preparation

I prepare the petition and all required schedules working within your firm's existing workflow. I have access to Best Case and can work directly in that platform, or in whatever format works best for your setup. Every form is reviewed for accuracy, consistency, and completeness before delivery.

Review & Filing

You receive a clean, court-ready petition for your review. Any adjustments are handled promptly so you can file with confidence.

The Work Comes Back Right

Every petition is reviewed for accuracy and consistency before it leaves my desk. If a correction is needed due to a preparation error on my part, it's handled promptly and at no additional charge — no friction, no debate, no additional invoice. Your confidence in the work product is the only standard that matters.

A Note on Scope and Professional Boundaries

Dawn Petition Support is a back-office service. My work product is the petition, accurate, complete, and ready for your review and filing. I am not an intake coordinator, a case manager, or a client-facing representative of your practice.

Any debtor contact that occurs as part of supporting services, such as delivering 341 meeting information or requesting a specific missing document under your instruction, is narrow, task-specific, and always conducted under your explicit direction. It does not involve discussing the case, providing legal information, or exercising any legal judgment. Those decisions belong entirely to you.

No legal advice is given. No unauthorized practice of law occurs. All petition preparation is conducted in writing with the attorney of record. Your professional responsibility remains exactly where it belongs.
